Kato’s respect for denim reaches back decades. Our years of experience and research resulted in our own version of the highly sought after denim of the 50s. We crafted this fabric with meticulous precision to replicate the uniform texture of the faded vintage denim collected for the Kato archives.

Kato 4-WAY STRETCH SELVEDGE ™ has the fit, quality, and comfort that will earn the approval of even the most seasoned denim-heads. Woven on vintage shuttle looms at our Japanese Mill, this denim has the perfect amount of 360º movement and is more comfortable than any other selvedge jeans on the market. All of our jeans are proudly made in America.

These dark selvedge jeans have been very lightly washed to give them a broken in feel and a fade that would be achieved after about one year of regular wear. These jeans feature a rare green and beige selvedge ID.
